A Guide to Basketball
Basketball is a game played by two teams, who are divided into five players. The object of the game is to score and to prevent the other team from scoring by drawing fouls. The player that draws the most fouls wins the game. Players may jump to catch a basketball, or they may shoot it.
The most important component of basketball is the ball. The ball is made up of two parts: the rim, which are fixed on the ground, and the court, which have rules that specify how it is to be used. A team can have only one ball, and players use the ball by jumping up on it. The player who scores the most points is the winner. There are rules for when the game should end. After a player has played all of his minutes, or when a player’s team has won half of its games, the game is over. This happens in one point of time, after the last shot is taken.
A basketball court is made up of two sides, where the home team and the visitor team meet. The visitor team begins its “home” side of the court by running through the opposing team’s “away” side of the court. When the home team wins a match, they go on to play the visitor. In the league, there are three divisions, the Eastern Conference, the Central Conference, and the Western Conference. For every game, there are a winner and a loser. Each game has a particular number of points for each team. All of the basketball rules of a certain league apply in all of the other leagues.
